Sometimes (maybe often!) big ideas come from small places. Joan and I have received guidance and encouragement over the years from countless persons. Every bit helps. And we had MANY little bits of help during our Kickstarter campaign!! The campaign is over now, but the link is still live if you want to see it. Altogether, between online pledges through Kickstarter and mailed-in checks, we received 236 contributions to help us launch the book! We sent out all our Kickstarter rewards (373 books went out to 31 different US states — and one book to Paris!) over the week of December 9-13, 2013. Then we “opened for business”! Buy the book here.
Now into our second printing, we remain humbly aware that the success of this project began with the faith and generosity of our financial backers, so we want to acknowledge those who have cheered us on in the last steps toward that first printing. Some of these persons are family, some are friends, and some are friends-not-yet-known-to-us (persons who pledged because they saw this project somewhere beyond our own reach … and it spoke to them).
